That Pup!!!

On a beautiful,warm sunny day on the ranch Jake heard a racket in the hen house.He jogged over to the chicken pen with his gun.What he saw made his mouth drop open.When he looked back where the pup was he was gone.Jake fed the animals then went to bed that night.
He woke up at 2:00 in the morning hearing a racket from the barn cats.Jake ran out there with his gun and there was the little rascal!Again that pup disappeared when Jake tried to catch a second glance.Jake went back to bed exhausted.
Then at 7:00 Jake heard that same racket but from the goats.Jake ran without his gun knowing it was that pup again.And it was.Jake smiled.He was actually starting to like that little rascal.Jake checked the goats over and they were all alright.He looked back where the pup was standing and Of Course that little rascal was gone.
He did all the chores and sat on one of his chairs looking for that pup.At 3:00 the dog catcher arrived.He strode up to Jake and talked sternly "Ive been hanging around here and I saw where that pup hides,where he goes and how much trouble he causes.So I'm going to catch that pup with or without your permission."Jake sighed and punched the guy in the eye giving him a black eye.The guy punched Jake in the stomach and gave him a black eye back.Jake sicked Nite on the guy.Nite ran after the guy and dragged form his leg.The guy picked up his metal bar and hit Nite in the head with it.Nite whimpered and walked toward Jake with his tail between his legs.Jake patted Nite and brought him in the house.Nite lied by the fire whimpering.
The Dog catcher sneaked up on the pup and captured him with his net.The guy brought the pup to the animal shelter and stuffed him in a cage with big mean dogs.Three big dogs ganged up on the pup and attacked him.
The next day Jake woke up and did his normal things.Then Jake drove to the pet shelter.Jake examined all the cages but didn't find what he was looking for.The last cage he did.There was that little rascal whimpering with his paws on the cage.Jake opened the cage door careful not to let the others out.The little pup ran right toward Jake and licked his face.Jake picked up the pup and adopted him.
And that night Jake heard those chickens....
